Programmes
The Summer School offers a number of courses on a wide range of subjects in the field of languages and linguistics. In 2010, the Summer School consisted of six programmes, each with its own courses:
Teaching language
All courses are taught in English, which means that good knowledge of the English language is a basic requirement. The courses of the Russian Programme are given in Russian.
ECTS
Active participation in a course stands for 2 ECTS. At the end of the Summer School, every participant will receive a certificate, which will indicate the courses followed and the amount of awarded ECTS credits. Participants can ask a supervisor at their home university to take an extra written examination. We will then provide the university with an examination and a key. Although the participant's own university is responsible for accrediting ECTS credits, we recommend a total amount of 5 ECTS credits per Summer School course (2 for active participation + 3 for examination).
