NewsOn June 16 and 17, 2011, the NWO-Stylistics of Dutch research group will be the host of the international stylistics conference 'Stylistics across disciplines'. The aim of this conference is to bring together literary scholars, linguists and rhetoricians with an interest in stylistic research. The goal is to exchange ideas and to stimulate collaboration between these different disciplines.
The 2010 PALA conference was held at the University of Genoa in Italy, 21-25 July 2010. Ninke Stukker and Suzanne Fagel presented their research at the conference.
The Dutch magazine Tekstblad , a magazine for professional copywriters, published an interview with Arie Verhagen, Ninke Stukker, Maarten van Leeuwen and Suzanne Fagel about the first results of the Stylistics of Dutch project and the things yet to be done. "The end result will not be a 'user manual', but rather something like a tool box, with a diverse array of tools that can be used for stylistic analysis."
