Computers and ICT
Information on computer facilities and ULCN Services.
Computer Facilities
Computers with CD-Rom facilities, internet, e-mail, as well as bibliographic systems are available to all students free of charge. The Faculty of Religious Studies has about six computer stations available on the second floor of the faculty building. Students can also use computer facilities at other university buildings or at Student Center Plexus (Kaiserstraat 25).
ULCN-Account
All students enrolled at Leiden University receive an ULCN-account (University Leiden Community Network), with which they can access PCs, use U-Mail, visit Blackboard, use the library catalogue U-cat, and register for courses and exams via U-TWIST (not necessary for courses at the Faculty of Religious Studies). Your Leiden University e-mail address is used by teachers and others to contact you; for that reason it is very important to check your U-MAIL regularly for new messages. It is possible to forward your U-MAIL to your personal regular e-mail address.
