New Digital Library

On 31 March the University Library launched a new version of the Digital Library (formerly known as U-LIP). The Digital Library provides access to the complete range of catalogues, bibliographic databases, full text resources en e-journals, offered by the Leiden University Libraries. Website:

Good to know:

• The new Digital Library will not open in a Find database screen, like U-LIP did, but in a QuickSearch screen. Find database can be found in the blue toolbar. The Subject tab provides a list of databases per discipline.
  
• Did you use personal settings in U-LIP (like My Resource list of My e-Journals list)?
  Unfortunately it is not possible to automatically transfer your personal settings to the new version of the Digital Library. You will need to enter your settings manually. The old version of the Digital Library (U-LIP) will be available next to the new version from 31st of March until 30th of May 2008 to allow ample time to transfer your personal settings. During this period you can only access the old system via .
