Vacature: PostDoc Technologie- und Innovationsgeschichte (Aachen)

Vacature: Postdoc Researcher 'Clio Infra: Institutions' (1,0 fte)

The postdoc researcher will work within the NWO-funded project 'Clio Infra' and will be part of the research team led by prof. Jan Luiten van Zanden at the Utrecht University. The postdoc will also be part of the department of social and economic history led by prof. Maarten Prak and prof. Bas van Bavel. Deadline: January, 29th 2012

ICOHTEC, the International Committee for the History of Technology, is interested in the history of technology, focusing on technological development as well as its relationship to science, society, economy, culture and the environment. The history of technology covers all periods of human history and all populated areas. Deadline 23-01-2012


Call for papers: World Wide Asia

In August 2012, Leiden Global Interactions (LGI), Asian Modernities and Traditions (AMT) and the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) will host an international conference on the theme of ‘World Wide Asia: Asian Flows, Global Impacts’ to critically explore Asian migrations as a globalizing force. Deadline for submissions: 1 February 2012
