Does the department have an introductory programme?

Yes, an introductory meeting for all MA History students takes place on Tuesday 6 September, from 15-16 hours in room 005, Lipsius building.

Where and when is my first lecture?

During the first week of the new semester of the next acedemic year 2011-2012

How do I get hold of my prospectus and lecture timetable?

Is there anything more I need to complete my enrolment?

Via secretariat: enlist for courses (by email to Ellen van Daal or by filling in a list at the secretariat's office)

Where can I buy my study books and teaching material?

Internet, via HSVL, bookstores Leiden (Selexyz, Van Stockum)

How can I catch up with any shortfall in my previous studies?

You can improve your language skills at the Talencentrum.

Does my student association organize any opportunity to get to know other students?

Yes, see the student association HSVL website for more information or send an e-mail to hsvl@hum.leidenuniv.nl.
