Call for Papers

The editors of LWPL welcome submissions of papers on all topics in the field of linguistics. Any LUCL staff member, student or affiliate of Leiden University, including guest researchers, may submit reports on their ongoing research for publication in LWPL.

The proceedings of workshops or conferences can be published as a special issue of LWPL, under the guest editorship of the conference or workshop organisers.

Student submissions are encouraged. For students up to PhD level, we request that their supervisor validate the submission.  

The Leiden Working Papers in Linguistics are, as the name suggests, working papers. Articles are often work in progress. Therefore, publication of an article in LWPL does not preclude later publication of an adapted version of the paper elsewhere.
