Tuesday 26 January: Methods and Skills
11:00-12:30 Info & Discussion session on informed consent in linguistic research
13:30-14:00 Introduction to tools & techniques used in experimental research
14:00-17:00 Pratical workshops to learn skills for your research:
- learn how to record, edit and annotate audio with Audition & PRAAT
- learn how to create annotations on video resources with ELAN
- learn basic steps of PsychoPy, an open-source stimulus presentation
and data collection application (bring your own laptop!)
The workshop will take place in the Lipsius building. We will send more detailed information regarding the talks and workshops to registered participants in due course. Register now to keep up to date.
