26-28 August 2013: Colloquium on African Languages & Linguistics
On 26, 27, and 28 August 2013, the 43th edition of the Colloquium on African Languages and Linguistics (CALL) took place in Leiden.
We are pleased to invite you to the 43th Colloquium on African Languages and Linguistics (CALL 2013), to be held in Leiden on 26, 27 and 28 August, from Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon.
Papers and research reports on all aspects of African languages and linguistics are welcome. We shall allow 30 minutes for the presentation of each paper, including (10 minutes) discussion.
Registration for the CALL 2013 is closed.
The registration fee is 25 euro (15 euro for (PhD-)students), to be paid on Monday morning the 26th. On Monday evening, there will be a dinner (costs 25 euro). If you want to attend this dinner, please let us know.
Here you can find a list of all people presenting a paper. If your name is not on it, but you think it should be, please let us know as soon as possible, by sending an e-mail. If your name is on it, but it should not be, also please contact us.

This year, the CALL will be extended by a one day workshop organised by Sharon Rose focussing on the phonology of Nuba Mountain languages. You can attend this workshop on August 29th which is free, but space is limited; please indicate in your registation if you plan to attend this workshop. On Wednesday CALL will host a special session dedicated to African sign languages, of which you can find the programme here. The session will be accessible in English and International Sign.

If you need an official letter of acceptance of your participation, please let us know. If you need a visa to enter the Netherlands, please start procedures well ahead of time. Unfortunately it is not possible to provide financial assistance.
