Fields of interest
Syntax: the left-periphery of the clause, word order, left dislocation, island effects, agreement (especially agreement marking on closed-class words). Dialectology: Dutch dialects.
Research
In my research project Left-peripheral word order in Dutch (dialects) I investigate the variation in word order in the left periphery in standard Dutch and its dialects, both empirically and theoretically. My supervisors are Johan Rooryck (LUCL) and Jeroen van Craenenbroeck (HUB/CRISSP).
