LUCAS offers education and guidance to PhD candidates in the fields of literature and art history of the Western world.
The PhD Council is the body elected from the LUCAS PhD student community to represent the general interests of all of the institute’s PhD candidates.
Internal PhD candidates are employed by LUCAS. Guest PhD candidates usually have a scholarship to cover the costs of living.
