The Academic Language Centre offers several language tests, courses in preparation for an official language exam, and advice on test development.
If you wish to enrol in one of our language courses you are required to do an entrance. This is the online test entitled Dialang. You can do the test at the Academic Language Centre by appointment, or you can download it and do it at home. Click here to go to the test.
Students who wish to enrol in a level 1 course do not need to do the test. Students who have successfully completed one of our courses may also enrol for the next level without doing the test.
The Academic Language Centre organises entrance tests in the Dutch language for prospective students of Leiden University as well as the Colloquium Doctum for English and French.
