Testing has become an integral part of today’s society. There is a need to test development, whether it is the cognitive or physical development of children, the progress of students or the suitability of people for a particular job.
The Language Centre/ICB is widely experienced in the field of language testing.

The service includes:

• advice on language testing in and outside the university
• linking language tests to the
• developing entrance tests, forms of continuous assessment and final exams
• the development of certification processes for jobs for which language is crucial

 
Testing should never be an end in itself and should be adapted to the context, the need and the aim of the course. In this way, testing can have a positive effect on the learning process of the student and is more than just an ‘obligation’ at the end of a course.
