News and eventsDutch 1A is a beginners' course of Dutch as a Second Language for international students of Leiden University. Dutch 1B is a follow-up course to Dutch 1A and to the crash course Dutch from the induction programme of Summer 2011.
The Leiden University Academic Language Centre is organising an Open Day on Thursday 2 February from 14.00 to 16.00 hrs. There will be trial lessons for some of the languages. Staff and teachers of the Language Centre will be available to answer any questions you may have about our language courses. You can also take a free entrance level test without any obligations.
You can enrol now in courses starting in January and February 2012.
The Academic Language Centre is a language institute which caters to professionals. We provide a variety of language courses as well as Dutch for foreigners.
In order to provide guidance to writers of research proposals, the Academic Language Centre will organize a workshop 'Summary Writing' in December 2011. This 3-hour workshop will complement the one-on-one advice provided by LURIS.
