- The subject of totalitarian discourse: inquiries into the reclaiming of self-government in post-GDR-literature, and into normalization processes and disciplinary measures in totalitarian state forms and their literarization.
- Childhood and adolesscence in (post-)GDR-literature: reflections in various autobiographical accounts. A discourse-analytical inquiry.
- The construction of history and reality in (post-)GDR-literature and in totalitarian discourse.
- Max Frisch: the hermeneutics of the subject against the background of communicative and cultural memory studies.
