Rebecca Wensma (Alkmaar, 1983) studied history at Leiden University. She received her BA degree in 2008, specializing in general history. Her thesis was about count Harry Graf Kessler (1868-1937).
She works at the Institute for History since 2007. Previous functions include: secretary work, Coordinator of Studies MA History, and Office Manager for the N.W. Posthumus Institute.
Curently she works as Institute Manager. As Institute Manager she is in charge of operational affairs of the Institute, such as finances, personnel and the internal organisation of the institute. She also works as coördinator of the Eurasian Empires programme and she is secretary of the Huizinga lecture committee.
