Sinterklaas uses the European Seminar to denounce European Border Policy.

In his address to MA-EUS students, Sinterklaas bitterly denounced the EU's immigration policy. Explaining why he was only accompanied by three Piets, he told how Spanish immigration officials had arrested the rest when the fourth in succession had given his/her name as ‘Pedro’. He himself had been deported after immigration officials had brought up the "incident" of the boys in the butchers cellar and the on-going 700 year-old case brought by the butcher for defamation of character.
