Fees
- There is a differential fee structure for EU/EEA students and students from the rest of the world. Fees for the year 2008-2009 can be found below. Due to EU regulations, students from the EU (European Union) and EEA (European Economic Area) are entitled to pay the same tuition fees as Dutch students (=home fee).
Full time and part-time degree (subject to annual change)
Dutch and EU/EEA and Surinam students under 30 years old € 1565,- Dutch and EU/EEA and Surinam students over 30 years old € 2150,- Non EU/EEA and Surinam students (2008-9 and 2009-10) € 13750,-
The tuition fees for non-EU/EEA/Swiss students are determined each year by Leiden University. Contact us for more information.
For non-EU students it is necessary to check with the Dutch visa-issuing authorities in their country that part-time study is compatible with the issuing of a visa. In certain circumstances, a (partial) fee waiver might be granted. Please contact the program coordinator(s) about this if you feel this may apply to you.
