Prospective students

The University of Leiden and the Academy of Fine Arts, Music and Dance in The Hague (the Royal Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts) founded the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts in December 2001. The Academy aims to bring the arts and academic disciplines together by creating a new programme that does justice to both elements. The programme will include bachelor's / master's programmes (with major/minor subjects), together with opportunities for advancement in artistic expression.

Currently, the Academy offers the master programmes Photographic Studies and Media Technology and a PhD in the arts on the basis of combinations of artistic and scientific achievements (docARTES en PhD). For information about the Masterprograms at Leiden University: www.mastersinleiden.nl.
