Academic Year

The academic year comprises 2 semesters, each of two blocks

Semester I

  • Block 1: 5 September 2011 up to and including 28 October 2011

Semester II

Examinations

Examinations and re-sits may take place in the lecture-free period, which occur in the middle (the interim test week) and at the end of each semester. If necessary, examinations and re-sits will be held before and after the interim test week to ensure that exams are sufficiently spread out.

In July and August re-sits may take place, except for the EL CID introduction week (13-17 August 2012); during that week only re-sits for first-year subjects (propaedeuse subjects) may take place.
